Welcome to the Gallatin Hockey Officials' Association (GHOA) and thank you for visiting our site.

We are a local association that is committed to positively contributing to a safe, fun, and growing hockey program through the education of USA Hockey certified officials. We take pride in developing quality referees in order to provide the players, coaches, and fans, the highest level of service possible.  

Incident Reports (REQUIRED)

USA Hockey officials are REQUIRED to submit a game report immediately following the game for any major, game misconduct or match penalty that is assessed.

In addition to the online game report, Please fill out the sheet in the referee locker room for any 3 & Out, Misconduct, Game Misconduct, or Match Penalty that occurs in the Adult League (HHL).

Please email a copy of all game reports to Kyler Harris & Mike McGarrah.

Scheduling

One of our biggest challenge every season is making sure ALL games are scheduled with qualified officials. Once you receive your crest, please let us know so we can add you to Horizon Web Ref (our scheduling software).

**PLEASE MAKE SURE TO KEEP YOUR AVAILABILITY CALENDAR UP TO DATE IN ORDER TO HELP OUR SCHEDULERS DO THEIR JOB AND TO MAKE SURE YOU GET GAMES. TURNBACKS SHOULD BE RARE **

Adult HHL Scoresheets

Please only take the scoresheet to the lockerroom if you need information for a game report or 3 & Out. Otherwise the scorekeeer will retain the sheet. Record the final score for ALL adult league games on the calendar in the locker room. Do not take any score sheets home with you. 

Scorekeepers

We are in need of Scorekeepers for ALL of the adult league games and tournaments. If you are interested in becoming a scorekeeper please email Brock Vosburgh at bvosburgh@bozemanhockey.org 

22-23 Tournament Dates

There are several tournaments in Bozeman that create a large increase in games. Please plan accordingly and open your availability when available. Thank you

  • ACHA Tourny - February 9th - 11th

  • Winter Classic - February 17th - 19th

  • HS State - February 23rd - 25th

  • Get Lucky Cup - March 10th -12th

  • Bamtam A State - March 17th - 19th

  • Legends - March 31st - April 2nd
