Gallatin Hockey Officials Association

We are a local USA Hockey Affiliated association that is committed to positively contributing to a safe, fun, and growing hockey program through the education of USA Hockey certified officials. We take pride in developing quality referees in order to provide the players, coaches, and fans, the highest level of service possible.

Ready to Become an Ice Hockey Official?

The Gallatin Hockey Officials Association is looking to add more On Ice Officials. This is a great opportunity to stay involved with hockey, challenge yourself to learn more about the game, give back to the sport, and make some money in the process.

Registration with USA Hockey must be complete by October 31st and certification must be complete by December 31st.

Opportunities Start With the Drop of a Puck

Regardless of your background, if you have a passion for the game of hockey, we encourage you to consider officiating.

For those that have played and reached a point where opportunities to advance have ended, officiating can really help fill the void that was experienced as a player being up close and right in the action.

For those who love hockey and are looking for opportunities to make some extra money, the flexibility officiating can really help as well.

Officiating also provides an opportunity to give back to the local hockey community that we all love. Reliable and dedicated officials are vital to a thriving youth program that our kids deserve.

For those looking to advance to higher levels, there is no end to where officiating can take you. Officials working in Bozeman with the Gallatin Hockey Officials Association have gone on to work National Tournaments, IIHF, NCAA, The Frozen 4, ECHL , USHL, and more.

Where will officiating take you?
